Most women go crazy over a man who can sing, but it’s just something about a guy who can not only carry a tune but can sing something sweet to you in octaves you can’t even reach that makes him all the more attractive.
Most times it’s just an ad lib or something sung in such a high pitch we don’t even know what’s being said, but when it comes down to it, everything just sounds better in falsetto. And here are 10 men who kill it every single time.
Frustraaaaaation…. by the time Miguel gets that line out, he might not even have to buy a woman drinks because his falsetto is so impeccable. And you know the best thing about Miguel’s high notes? He can hit them live too. (And yes, we know he’s hit other things, like women in the head with his pointy-toe shoes, but let’s stick to the matter at hand.)
Where should we start? “Superstar”? “There Goes My Baby”? “Climax”? Or “Can You Handle It”? Usher is the inspiration behind this list. It’s crazy how effortlessly he flows into those high notes and brings it down low. Chills girls. Chills.
I don’t know how to type the sound of those ad libs Justin does in “Suit and Tie” but you know what I’m talking about . The ooooaaahhhwwww. JT killed those notes just like he did the falsetto on “Cry Me a River.” Effortless.
There are very few things this man can’t do so it should be no surprise to see him on this list. It’s hard to decide on which song we enjoyed his falsetto notes more, “Kiss” or “Adore”? If his music wasn’t on lock on YouTube we’d let you decide.
Smokey would’ve had us in his car cruisin’ so fast it’s not even funny. His entire repertoire of music is full of falsetto notes and we love every single one.
Jeremih’s a little raunchy, but we don’t mind as long as he’s on key when he’s singing all nasty like. The 25-year-old Chicagoan isn’t super well known, but you’ve probably heard his soprano over some hard rap beats at the club.
“Simply Beautiful” is personally my favorite falsetto track from Reverend Al Green, but the truth of the matter is he can go into a soprano shout without a moments notice on just about any of his songs.
Ron Isley killed the falsetto game for about 50 years straight, let’s just be honest. Our parents were grooving to him on “Between the Sheets,” then in the ’90s we got hip to his voice when we couldn’t stop singing “you’re contagious, touch me babaaaay.”
Please don’t say you’ve forgotten Tank begging and pleading “Please Don’t Go” in 2007. Just about every woman who heard him hit that note responded, “I’m not going anywhere baby.”
