From 2006 to 2010, WeTV’s “Platinum Weddings” featured the extravagant, over-the-top weddings of the lavish, which took it too far at times. As they say, the perfect wedding is priceless, but many of these weddings capped a budget in the millions, sometimes exploiting the pomp and circumstance of the ceremony instead of highlighting the sentimental value of the wedding instead.
