Black Republican Wins GOP Congressional Primary in Colorad
(Black Politics On The Web) — Aurora City Councilman Ryan Frazier has won the GOP nomination to challenge Democratic U.S. Rep. Ed Perlmutter in Colorado’s 7th Congressional District. Frazier defeated pilot and first-time candidate Lang Sias, who had been endorsed by Arizona Sen. John McCain. If elected, Frazier would become Colorado’s first black member of Congress.
