Last season, Joan Smalls was front and center in Donna Karan’s Fall/Winter Ad Campaign. This season her look remains in high demand as she treks the catwalks from New York to Milan. We’ve fallen hard for her versatility, and how she can easily transform from homespun to exotic within a few brush strokes. We took a look back to Jean Paul Gaultier’s Fall 2010 collection where she was snapped backstage sporting one of the season’s edgiest looks.
