Well, if you’re one of the few people who opted out of Olympics coverage, let me tell you: YOU. MISSED. OUT.  At almost any given time of the Olympics, especially during this past week with the focus on track and field, there was athletic eye candy flashing across the screen.  I’m talking about cuties from every country, in every flavor, matching almost everyone’s taste.  Let’s see what we found…

Cullen Jones

I’ve got to start with one of the few brothers we saw in the pool during the Olympics, Mr. Cullen.  If you’re an Olympics stan like me (I’ll watch just about any sport during the games), you remember seeing Cullen during the 2008 Olympics.  You can never see everything he’s got going on from just a picture but when you see him on television…? YUMMY.  He’s tall, has pretty teeth, a great smile and just adorable.  He’s mine so the rest of you just look…

David Oliver

I know that almost all of you ladies have spotted David during the Track & Field trials so I won’t claim him as “mine” but can we all just collectively drool over him? He could jump over as many hurdles as he wants as long as he lands in my…arms. And yes, HU alums, we know he went to Howard!

Oscar Pistorius

There was a lot of focus and criticism on Oscar, aka Blade Runner, because many felt he had an unfair advantage running with prosthetic limbs with blades on the bottom.  While that may or may not be true, I am choosing to focus on that face.  Those and that smile just pulled me right on in along with his positive attitude.  I have a feeling we’ll be seeing more of him soon.

Tyson Chandler

Oh, hey Tyson.  I just want to put it out there that I think Tyson has gotten finer over the last two weeks. I’m not sure what’s going on across the pond but I like it (Kevin Durant is too but that’s another story).  I know he has a jersey but just remember the ESPN Magazine cover for the body issue. Yup!

Christian Sprenger

Look at that face!  This Australian has all the girls talking; I’ve been checking the blogs and teens sites and they are all over him.  I have to agree…he is super easy on the eyes.  The moment I saw him come out of the water I knew he would be a ladies’ favorite!

Jordan Burroughs

I did not expect to see this fine specimen of a man in the wrestling category.  We rarely ever get to see wrestlers’ faces and I suspect the only reason we saw Jordan is because he’s bring the gold home to the USA.  He’s 165 pounds of absolute chocolate-y muscle.  He took the other wrestlers down left and right and still came out with a perfect, unblemished smile.

Teddy Riner

No, I don’t know why Teddy has that big design in his head or why he’s still rocking three cuts in his eyebrows in 2012.  What I do know is that you need to get into how this French man really is. He took the gold home for his excellence in Judo.  So he’s cute, strong and an Olympian? I’ll take one of him to go, please!

Jason Richardson

Let me keep it real: I really had to be convinced to add Jason to the list because I didn’t really “see” it for him at first. But after watching a couple of races, I think I can rock with him.  Jason has a “ruggedness” about him that I like and a great smile (that’s clearly a running theme here).  He doesn’t have that typical “pretty boy” look and for that, I’m with it.
