Over the course of three powerful, sold-out days, the 2025 Cry Out Conference transformed Houston into a hub of healing, praise, and purpose. From May 1 to May 3, thousands gathered under the leadership of Pastor Keion and Lady Shaunie Henderson of the Lighthouse Church and Ministries, not just for another lifestyle conference, but to be part of a cultural and spiritual movement. Cry Out Con wasn’t just an event. It was an encounter.

This year’s theme, “A.I. – ALL IN,” cleverly redefined artificial intelligence as a metaphor for full commitment, calling attendees to go all in on faith, wellness, purpose, and personal growth. In a world increasingly dominated by automation and algorithms, Pastor Keion reminded the crowd: “The Bible is the original ChatGPT.” His message was clear that technology has its place, but divine wisdom remains unmatched.

Day 1: VIP Vibes & Visionary Love

Born from a vision to create a spiritually charged and culturally relevant space, Cry Out Con speaks directly to the hearts of Millennials and Gen Z believers. With honest dialogue, uplifting worship, and raw testimonies, the conference blended Black culture, faith, and lived experience into an unforgettable three-day revival.
From live podcast tapings to breakout sessions, surprise guests, and moments that sparked tears, laughter, and transformation, the experience resonated long after the final prayer. The weekend opened with an exclusive VIP Day Party that set the tone for what would come.
During a live taping of The GrOOw Zone podcast, Pastor Keion and Lady Shaunie hosted power couple Monique and Melvin Rodriguez, founders of Mielle Organics. The two shared their inspiring story of love, legacy, and building a purpose-driven empire, proving that faith and partnership can indeed fuel success. Star support came from hometown favorite Letoya Luckett, who added an extra dose of glamour and encouragement.
Day 2: Deep Worship & Divine Reminders

The spirit deepened on Day 2 with a morning worship set by Todd Dulaney that stirred the room into full surrender. Praise echoed through the walls as the Houston Mass Choir and the Lighthouse Church Praise Team elevated the energy even further.
Then came a sermon to remember. LaTrice Ryan lit up the stage with a fierce and fiery message, reminding every soul in the room that there may be times when you feel like the world has counted you out, but God has not. Her words became a battle cry, awakening forgotten dreams and reigniting divine purpose and faith across the audience at Cry Out Con.
Day 3: Truth, Transparency & A Grand Finale

The final day hit every note: emotional, spiritual, financial, and physical. Morning reflection and wellness sessions helped attendees refocus. In contrast, a breakout session on money management and debt reduction drew such overwhelming interest it had to be moved to the main stage.
One of the most anticipated moments was a candid conversation between Pastor Keion and bestselling author Stephan Speaks, exploring the journey of healing and rediscovering love.
The emotional momentum continued when comedian and cultural voice DC Young Fly joined them on stage, balancing humor with heart and pain with hope.

The weekend closed with Cry Out After Hours, an electric, elevated worship concert. Madison Ryan Ward’s soul-stirring vocals created an atmosphere of reverence and peace. And then came the moment everyone had been waiting for. Kirk Franklin took the stage, delivering a high-energy, spirit-filled performance that turned the final night into a full-on celebration of faith, freedom, and fire.
What began as a conference ended as a movement. Cry Out Con 2025 reminded attendees that transformation happens when we show up as we are: flawed, hopeful, and fully open to what God is doing. In a world that’s going “all in” on artificial intelligence, Cry Out Con called us to go all in on divine intention, worship and purpose.
