Imagine being able to tell if your partner is emotionally disconnected, contemplating infidelity, or even considering ending the relationship. Soon, this could be a reality with a groundbreaking new device called The Ring, currently being developed by dating platform RAW and tech startup Queens Tech.

The Ring, sold in pairs, leverages artificial intelligence and cutting-edge Bio-fusion sensors to monitor both you and your partner’s physical and emotional states. According to The Ring’s website, these smart rings track a range of vital signs, emotional cues, and even vocal tone, providing insights into the health of your relationship. As reported by the New York Post, The Ring can detect shifts in emotions like stress, arousal, and anxiety by analyzing data such as heart rate, skin temperature, and movement patterns throughout the day. A subtle line on the ring changes color to signal your partner’s emotional state, turning pink or red when they are stressed, anxious, or aroused.

The Ring can work no matter where you and your partner are located, according to RAW and Queens Tech.

What sets The Ring apart is its ability to “understand context.” It can differentiate between an increase in heart rate due to physical exertion or heightened emotional arousal, offering a more accurate reading of your partner’s true feelings. As long as both partners are wearing the ring, the device can track emotional and physical cues, whether you’re in the same room or miles apart. That means The Ring can change color if your partner is near someone who unexpectedly arouses them or if they are considering becoming emotionally or sexually involved.

“When something’s up, you’ll know. Simple as that,” RAW co-founder Marina Anderson told the New York Post

The high tech gadget also comes with a companion app, as reported by SexTech Guide, providing users with “deeper insights” into the emotional patterns detected by the device. The creators of The Ring claim their innovation offers a “fundamentally new form of human connection.”

You won’t have to worry about charging the high-tech contraption, either. The Ring is powered by Qi wireless charging and offers up to seven days of battery life, with a quick 30-minute charge. It also features advanced Cloud Security, ensuring all private data about your relationship is protected with end-to-end encryption.

The device is not yet available on the market, with the creators anticipating a release in late 2025 or early 2026. Pricing details have not been disclosed.
