11. Rev. Dr. Cheryl A. Kirk-Duggan

 

Rev. Dr. Cheryl A. Kirk-Duggan is a distinguished author, preacher, and scholar, renowned for her contributions to theology, ethics, and spirituality. With extensive leadership experience across both religious and academic institutions, she serves as a Professor of Religion at Shaw University Divinity School in Raleigh, NC, and is an Ordained Elder in the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church.

Dr. Kirk-Duggan has authored more than 20 influential books, including Violence and Theology, The Sky is Crying: Racism, Classism, and Natural Disaster (edited, Abingdon, 2006), and Wake Up: Hip Hop, Christianity, & the Black Church, From Spirit To Spirit notes. 

Dr. Cheryl A. Kirk-Duggan is also the founder and CEO of Dr. Cheryl Enterprises, where she dedicates her work to supporting individuals on their grief journeys and fostering writing excellence. Through her work, she empowers people to embrace their authentic, sacred selves by guiding them toward peace with loss, grief, and trauma, according to Collegeville Institute. Additionally, she helps individuals discover joy and creativity in their writing, enabling them to express themselves and heal through the power of the written word.
