The ladies in Prime Video’s Harlem are a force to be reckoned with, and their friendship has endured the test of times throughout every season!

Over the past three seasons, Camille (Meagan Good), Quinn (Grace Byers), Angie (Shoniqua Shandai), and Tye (Jerrie Johnson) have experienced career changes, dreams deferred, a divorce, breakups, makeups, personal growth, and a baby (oh my). They have reflected the power and dynamics of sisterhood while showcasing that Black women deserve to live as freely and openly as they wish.

Since ancient times, astrologers have looked to the sun, moon, and stars for guidance and insight into how people appear. The same is true for the ladies of Harlem. With this third and final season of the hit series, MadameNoire thought it’d be fun to take a closer look at what we believe the zodiac sign for each of our main characters would be. Be sure to tell us if we got it right!

Quinn – Cancer (June 22- July 22)

Quinn Joseph is the only character who has seemingly vocalized her sun sign.

During the third season’s premiere episode, she meets a new love interest, Seth (Kofi Siriboe), who poses the pick-up line we’ve heard far too much – “What’s yo sign?”

Her response was Cancer, which tracks the dynamics of the character Quinn, as portrayed by Grace Byers, who is a Leo. Quinn’s sensitive, nurturing, and profoundly emotional nature is spot on for those born under the Cancer sun sign. Also, she’s a lover girl down – very Cancerian of her!

Camille – Scorpio (October 24- November 21)

Meagan Good plays Camille, and although the actress is a Leo, her character in Harlem gives off big Scorp vibes—I mean, look at her commitment to self-sabotage (haha).

Her intensity and passion, as well as her deep love for the ins and outs of anthropology, or the study of human societies and cultures and their development, is spot on for a Scorpio. Additionally, her ability to overthink everything perfectly fits in with the energy of those who fall under this zodiac sign. Let’s also not forget her tumultuous relationship with Ian. If that’s not a Scorpio, we don’t know what it is!

Tye – Aquarius (January 20- February 18)

Jerrie Johnson, the actress who brought life to Harlem’s Tye Reynolds, is an Aquarius, which is also accurate for her character.

As an innovator, Tye fits the description of an Aquarius all too well. Her work with the dating app she’s created shows her fierce independence, progressive attitude, and unapologetic approach to life. She also speaks to the traits of an Aquarian—someone who is always there to challenge the status quo and live life on their terms!

Angie – Leo (July 23- August 22)

Another example of art imitating life is Shoniqua Shandai’s birthday, August 6. Her sun sign matches what we believe is Angie’s sign as a Leo.

A born performer, Angie thrives on attention and exudes charisma. Moreover, this character’s bold (and a bit dramatic) approach to life is peak Leo! She can work a room and still have the energy to show up for her friends, although Angie will always remind you that she’s the main character in her life and yours. Ruled by the sun, Leos has no choice but to shine bright, as do Angie and Shoniqua!

Ian – Pisces – (February 19- March 20)

In his waking life, actor Tyler Lepley is an Aries, but as Ian, Camille’s on-again-off-again lover, the character screams Pisces!

As someone dreamy, romantic, and even artistic in his approach to life as a chef, Ian is a certified lover boy with a hint of toxicity, leading us to believe he would be a Pisces.

As someone who lives in delusion, oftentimes not facing his fears (or the problems he’s created) spot on, Ian has the complete recipe of what it takes to be a Pisces.

His desire to follow his heart and deeply intuitive nature, along with the sex, make him and Camille both water signs willing to drown in each other’s love and bring others along for the plot.

Aunt Tammy – Aries ( March 21- April 19)

Ian’s fierce, outspoken Aunt Tammy (Bevy Smith) embodies Aries energy.

She’s never been afraid to call neither Ian or Camille out on their BS, leaning in to that tough love that only those born under this sign know how to give so eloquently. Aunt Tammy is protective, action-oriented and immediately ready and willing to go to bat for her loved ones, all of the makings of a fiery Aries!

Dr. Elise Pruitt – Virgo (August 23- September 22)

Camille’s boss, portrayed by the legendary Whoopi Goldberg is the quintessential Virgo.

With characteristics that are sharp, strategic, and meticulous paired with her impossibly high standards, Dr. Pruitt is a perfectionist, which goes hand and hand with being this structured earth sign.

Patricia – Sagittarius (November 22- December 21)

Quinn’s mother is bold and outspoken, and when she isn’t worried about helping her Quinny to find true love, she’s a good ole funky time, just like a true Sag!

Patricia (Jasmine Guy) embraces her independence and adventurous spirit a little too much sometimes putting her own desires ahead of the emotional needs of her daughter, making for the ultimate Sagittarius.

Seth – Gemini (May 21- June 21)

A new love interest for Quinn in the final season of Harlem, Seth (Kofi Siriboe) radiates Gemini energy thanks to his wits and charm.

He keeps Quinn intrigued with both his humor and intellectual curiosity and not to mention, he’s a national conversationalist — all the makings of a Gemini!

Portia – Libra (September 23 – October 23)

Well-balanced and bringing harmony into Ian’s life, Portia (Logan Browning) has all the makings of a Libra.

She’s beautiful, elegant, and almost effortlessly magnetic. Libras are known to be lovers of beauty and harmony, so it makes sense that Portia has an allure that draws Ian in.

Additionally, her calmness throughout the turmoil of being with a man welcoming a baby with his ex is something that we’re not even sure anyone, no matter the zodiac sign, would have the maturity to handle!

Eva – Capricorn (December 22- January 19)

Eva (Gail Bean) is all about her money and working hard, which is why it’s only right that she and Tye go from business acquaintances to lovers.

Known for their discipline and practicality, Capricorns are known to be strict, which mirrors Eva’s ability to stand on business when it comes to the chaos that Tye often encompasses.

Tracy Oliver – Taurus (April 20- May 20)

We’d be remiss if we didn’t include the creator of this beautiful series in the mix of the astrology shenanigans to get a closer peek into the makings of Tracy Oliver that may have led her to conjure up the characters in a series like Harlem.

Born on May 15, Harlem’s creator and showrunner is the definition of a Taurus as someone persistent, dedicated, and a lover of beauty and storytelling.

The mastermind behind Harlem and films like Girls Trip, The Blackening, and Little, Oliver has built an incredible career through creativity, patience, and an eye for quality.
