Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and we know some of you will be up to some naughty things by the time night falls.

Looking to spice up your bedroom experience with sensual attire? We’ve got you covered!

Check out these 10 Black-owned lingerie brands that’ll keep things sexy with your significant other this Valentine’s Day!

1. Savage Fenty

Most of us would be familiar with Savage X Fenty lingerie line as it was founded by Rihanna. The Good Girl Gone Bad singer has yet to release a new album after nine years.

However, she has dropped a new collection of  lingerie for Valentine’s Day. “Love Your Way” is the theme of this campaign with the drop consisting of several collections.

One collection is called Les Roses and like the name suggests each and every piece is covered with roses. Nite Shade is another collection where all clothing is a fiery bright red piece lined with purple lace. Check out the other options on the website. Prices range from $5 to $70.

2. IHUOMA

Annabelle Mu’azu created IHUOMA to give Black women permission to be unapologetic and bold about their sensuality.

The pieces in this line have exquisite warm and glowy colors that play well with melanated skin tones. She uses luxurious silks in some of her collections, and the line honors the Egyptian Ankh.

Mu’azu’s goal is to create unique embroidery that women would want to keep forever. She also aims to empower women and encourage them to embrace their divine femininity. Prices range from $60 to a little over $300.

3. D.bleu.dazzled

If you are one who likes to bring that main character energy to the bedroom D.bleu.dazzled is probably where you should be shopping at this Valentine’s Day.

Founder Destiny Bleu aims to make anyone wearing one of her pieces feel like a superstar. To further drive this mission, many of the garments include some form of bedazzled accent.

Since opening the business in 2010, Bleu has obtained much success. She’s even worked with superstars such as Cardi B, Rihanna, and even the Queen herself Beyoncé. Her lingerie, catsuit and hosiery clothing range from $25 to $600.

4. Suzy Black

Diondra Julian was inspired to start her lingerie line after years of watching her mother.

Growing up, she noticed how her mother was intentional about creating “me time” for herself. This time would include long bath times and wearing glamorous clothing. Fast forward to her last semester in college, her mom gifted her a box full of carefully picked lingerie.

This is when the idea to create her own line came to her. The limited line has pieces ranging from $25 to nearly $300.

5. Nubian Skin

It’s no secret that finding anything skin-tone related from band-aids to foundation has been a difficult challenge for people of color. That hardship only increased for women of deeper tones who wanted to find lingerie and undergarments that matched their skin.

Ade Hassan was frustrated by this herself so she decided to create the solution to her problem with Nubian Skin. Shopping is made easier by organizing the hosiery, lingerie and shapewear by different skin shades.

The range includes Berry, Cinnamon, Caramel, and Café au Lait. Not to mention that it is extremely affordable with prices not exceeding $20.

6. Nude Barre

Since we’re already baring it all, we might as well keep it that way as we move on to Nude Barre. This Black-owned company is more than just a lingerie brand.

They also offer base layers that you can wear at any point of the day. Erin Carpenter founded the business after being excluded countless times in dance class. Unable to find tights in her skin tone, instructors asked her to sit out.

Carpenter worked to change that and brought tights, panties, and bras to give buyers an inclusive range of nudity. Nude Barre is another affordable line with prices capped at around $50.

7. Miss Chii

Chiedza Dawn Ziyambe founded Miss Chii after hearing the concerns of curvier women. These women felt the people who made undergarments for them didn’t consider how they would fit or make them feel. So Dawn strived to change that.

Coupling her education as an engineer with her passion for fashion, Dawn created a “second skin” for women. The bras and panties include textiles and materials sourced locally in Nottinghamshire, England.

She also has lace bodysuits with “gowns” to pair with it. Prices range from $30 to $300.

8. Anya Lust

If you’re looking for another lavish brand, check out Anya Lust. The lingerie boutique founded in 2015 creates a luxurious experience for women and couples. The online store, created by Krystle Ada Epum, offers in-house and curated collections that will make any woman feel sexy.

The nightwear ranges from the typical two-piece sets and mini dress to a plethora of more colorful and racier options.

There are pieces with cut-outs leaving even less to the imagination and some that make wearers look like a wrapped-up present. Prices range from under $20 to $795.

9. Liberté

Amber Tolliver founded Liberté in 2019 after struggling in the modeling industry in her teens. After putting on some weight, she was told that she may do well in the “plus board.”

Tolliver agreed but soon realized the lingerie pieces she modeled were rarely, if ever, flattering. That is when she decided to start her lingerie brand that was inclusive to all bodies.

The bra and panties offer a cozy and sophisticated fit for customers. Prices range from $40 to $117.

10. LaSette

Shiara Robinson is another founder who sought to create her lingerie brand to empower women. However, she didn’t like how lingerie was always promoted solely for sexual activities.

So she created a line meant for “day to night lifestyles.” Her line has a limited selection of thongs, strapped bralettes, and wrapped tops. Prices range from $45 to $280.
