The dreadful day that Donald Trump reclaimed his title as the United States of America president has come.
Since the November 2024 presidential election results, many people have begun preparing themselves for another four years from a man whose first term in the White House was filled with distrust, misinformation, hatred, and, to be quite frank, downright embarrassment. But America isn’t America without chaos, it seems.
During times like these, many Americans, specifically Black women, are reclaiming their time, turning inward and toward their respective communities to brace themselves for another unpredictable presidency. In the same year that Trump was reelected into office, he was also sentenced in New York after being convicted of 34 felonies for refusing to disclose hush-money payments made to Stormy Daniels following an extramarital affair.
While we could sit here and try to make sense of the American values that Trump claims he wants to uphold during his return to the White House, the more important thing is how black women will continue to protect their peace in a world where they are continuously disrespected, silenced, and even worse, harmed.
Since ancient times, Black women have had a rich and nuanced relationship with astrology, often blended with ancestral, cultural, and spiritual traditions. The belief system and practice suggest a direct connection between celestial movements and events on Earth and how they tend to shape human behavior, destiny, and personality.
Astrology can be viewed as a tool for self-discovery and healing, community and sisterhood, spiritual and ancestral ties, and even a lens for relationships and dating.
That said, Madamenoire is diving into how a Trump Presidency may affect each of the 12 zodiac signs and ways to deal with the forthcoming years of his term based on your sun sign, which can be determined by the day you’re born.
Aries (March 21- April 19)

Known as The Warrior, people born under the Aries sign thrive on action. A Trump presidency may ignite your fighting spirit, which means you may be called to tap into activism, advocacy, and entrepreneurship.
If things don’t move as quickly as you’d like, you may feel frustrated, but there’s no need to fret. Use this time to channel that fiery energy into constructive outlets. Whether you’re organizing community initiatives or starting a project aligned with your beliefs that’s been tugging at your heartstrings for months, the time for action is now.
Beware, however, of burnout. Don’t forget that as a Black woman, rest is your birthright and not a reward for putting in the daily grind. When the time calls, sit down and rest… you will need should you choose to be on the frontlines of the protests, projects, or what have you that may follow another four-year term with Trump as the American leader.

Taurus (April 20- May 20)

As “The Grounded One,” Taureans operate at their highest in stable environments. As previously mentioned, Trump is an unstable man, and his previous four years in office from 2016 to 2020 are proof in the pudding.
With all the political turbulence in the air following his being sworn back into office, Taurus people may find solace in long-term planning, specifically for any economic shifts that could impact your financial security with this man in office.
Lean into being the queen of self-care. Engaging in practices like cooking, gardening, meditation, or whatever keeps you grounded. Remember, routines are your friend!

Gemini (May 21- June 20)

Oddly enough, Trump was born a Gemini on June 16. Yet, being born under a star sign known best as The Communicator can be very jarring, to say the least. His engaging communication style can be jarring at times.
As people who live for information, Geminis may feel overwhelmed and, even worse, overstimulated by the constant political discourse taking place online and in real life. You may even find yourself the subject of debates over the next four years.
To survive victoriously, learn to be selective about where you get your news, and do not engage in doom-scrolling! Your knack for communication is your superpower, so finding ways to use it for good, whether through writing, social media, or conversations that close the division gaps in this country, will be your kryptonite.

Cancer (June 21- July 22)

Think of Cancers as the mom friend out of all of the zodiac signs; I mean, they don’t call ya’ll The Nurturer for no reason.
Keeping in mind how empathetic you may be as a Cancerian will help you to navigate any deep emotions that come to the surface, especially those triggered by policies that directly impact Black women.
While the emotional weight of the world may be heavy, it will be key to lean on your support system (remember, firm friends need people to lean on, too) and create the safe spaces you’re known to provide for loved ones. Some pro-tips for Cancers during this season can include engaging in activism centered around healing, mental health advocacy, community-building initiatives, and everything in between.

Leo (July 23- August 22)

Black women already excel at everything they put their minds to, so those born under this sign may feel that amplified times ten.
Referred to as The Leader now is the time to take charge as Leos do best. Getting involved in local politics, standing up and sharing resources through your online presence, or even leading movements will fuel your desire for recognition within your work.
For the next four years, using your platform as a tool for advocacy and change can help you balance your leadership drive with humility. Remember, collaboration during times of political uncertainty is key!

Virgo (August 23- September 22)

The running joke that Virgos act like God himself left them in charge may work in your favor now! As The Analyst, Virgos can become inundated with making sure all t’s are crossed and all i’s are dotted, which isn’t the worst trait to possess during times like these.
In this current political climate, dissecting policies, fact-checking statements, and seeking solutions seem like second nature, but to be quite frank, this level of attention to detail can be exhausting.
Rather than trying to fix everything that seems to be awry in the world (and trust, it feels like it’s a lot these days), focus on that one thing you care so deeply about that you tend to lose sleep. Practice implementing healthy boundaries on the amount of news you’re consuming, too, and find those practical ways to contribute. Whether that looks like volunteering or educating the masses, the choice is up to you.

Libra (September 23- October 22)

Libras crave balance, so that another Trump presidency may have your anxiety at an all-time high.
Suppose you’re struggling to maintain harmony in relationships with people whose political views differ from yours; give yourself grace. Don’t be afraid to disengage and take a step back if needed as we cope with a Trump presidency. Practice setting boundaries with people who drain your energy, whether they’re co-workers, classmates, or colleagues. It is okay to lean into the notions that explain why they call Libras The Diplomat.

Scorpio ( October 23- November 21)

No stranger to power struggles, Scorpions were born to deal with the Donald Trump’s of the world.
As The Strategist, you may feel an increased sense of urgency around justice and transformation, but remember, feelings are not always facts. Scorpios are one of the most intense signs of the zodiac, which leaves them with emotions that may feel twice as heightened as others.
Your North Star over the next four years may involve getting involved with grassroots movements or even behind-the-scenes work that fuels systemic change. While intensity is a gift for those born under the Scorpio sign, channeling it wisely is the real gift that keeps giving.

Sagittarius (November 22- December 21)

Their free-spirited nature is not to be confused with Sagittarius’s profound love for honesty. That is precisely why this sign is called The Truth-Seeker.
A Trump presidency may directly affect your values of freedom, mainly through his stance on things that may soon restrict women’s rights. If you’re left feeling stifled or concerned about what the future of education and travel will look like under his leadership, listen up.
What will keep you sane during this time may be a desire to stay informed about global affairs and consider ways your voice can be used for activism. If traveling is hard during this time, remember there are other ways to teleport from where you are. Use books, documentaries, and connecting with diverse perspectives to fuel your love for expansion.

Capricorn (December 22- January 19)

An Earth sign, Capricorns are much like their fellow Tauruses and Virgos, who have an affinity to being grounded.
Those born under this sign carry traits of being extraordinarily goal-oriented and pragmatic, so economic shifts and changes in leadership structures may leave you called to reassess both your long-term and career plans.
Looking ahead to the next four years under another Trump administration, focus on what makes you self-sufficient. This can include career advancement, entrepreneurship, or financial planning. Additionally, assess your community approach and build networks supporting your ambitions while ensuring long-term stability.

Aquarius (January 20- February 18)

Astrological experts have revealed that we’re ushering in the Age of Aquarius, a collective focus that shifts from individual power structures to collaborative efforts. As The Visionary, the time is now for Aquarians to lean on their love for progressive policies and avoid regressive ones.
If you feel so inclined to rebel against outdated systems, now is the time to do so! Pushing for radical change will remain your superpower throughout another Trump presidency.
As a lover of innovation, you may find a pull to create new solutions through activism, art, or technology. Aquarius will find solace in leading the charge toward building a better future. Stay aware, however, of burnout. Again, as a Black woman, rest is your birthright. Do not get caught up in using the practice as a reward for running yourself into the ground.

Pisces (February 19- March 20)

Source: Ilya Oktyabr / Getty
Like fellow Cancers and Scorpios, Pisces is another water sign. Like them, Pisces are profoundly empathetic and often carry the world’s weight on their shoulders.
If you struggle to differentiate which emotions are your own and which belong to the world, prioritizing emotional self-care is key.
Creative outlets and profound spiritual practices may help you process your emotions and escape (only when necessary). However, as the Dreamer, don’t allow escapism to fuel your fear when things feel too heavy to bear. Surrounding yourself with like-minded people and those who inspire hope will do you good during the next four years.
