Remy Ma Declares Love For Eazy The Block Captain

It appears there will be no reconciliation any time soon, if at all, for Remy Ma and Papoose. Despite still being married, both have seemingly moved on to new relationships and things appear to be heating up for Remy Ma’s.

On Jan. 6, a clip went viral on X of Remy Ma professing her love for her new boyfriend Eazy The Block Captain. The declaration took place at an event for the Chrome 23 battle rap league that Remy Ma owns. Eazy The Block Captain was in the middle of a circle of people rapping. 

The clip starts with him taking shots at Papoose by referencing his “Alphabetical Slaughter” rap. He said, “All that Alphabetical Slaughter sh-t but what happens when she stopped at E,” which was followed by an eruption from the crowd.

It then cuts to where he said, “I’m only going to address this sh-t one time. Since y’all want to be on the front lines.” Continuing his rap, he called out to Remy Ma next. “Aye yo Remy don’t you love me?” Off camera, she shouted back, “yes.” Going back into the rap he said, “See right there that’s the punchline.” 

It’s not fully clear when things started going sour with Papoose and Remy Ma’s marriage. It is not known when Remy and Eazy began their relationship. But in 2023, a rapper named Geechi Gotti exposed their romance during a battle rap with Eazy. Immediately, fans and viewers searched for further confirmation while also expressing their disappointment if the rumors were true. But both Remy Ma and Papoose stayed silent. 

Then, in December 2024, the “Lean Back” rapper and Papoose had a social media war. Remy Ma started by claiming her husband and his reported girlfriend Olympic gold medalist boxer Claressa Shields were putting out fake narratives about her. She claimed it was to make her look bad. She followed up by posting text messages showing Shields expressing frustration with Pap about Remy. Remy told Shields she was not the only woman Pap was dealing with. 

Papoose then responded with accusations of his own, saying Remy Ma cheated on him “repeatedly” and dubbed her a “narcissist.” In a post, he claimed that he “requested a divorce numerous times,” and since he’s moved on, Remy is “angry & making up lies.”

Many considered Remy Ma and Papoose to be couples goals. They met in 2004 before Remy received her 2008 eight-year prison sentence for assault with a weapon. Remaining a couple through her sentence, Papoose remained loyal and would visit Remy frequently. The former couple wed while Remy was serving her sentence in 2008.

The couple has children from previous relationships but they share their 6-year-old daughter Reminisce MacKenzie.
