Clips4Sale, the largest platform for kink and fetish news, has unveiled the top fetish for 2025 — and it may surprise you.

According to the popular fetish site, chastity, the practice of orgasm denial, is poised to be the top fetish of 2025, with a significant rise in popularity among kinksters across the U.S. In recent years, the practice of abstaining from pleasure has experienced explosive growth, increasing by 193% since 2020. However, the most dramatic surge occurred in 2024, with sales spiking by 71% among those interested in purchasing chastity belts—one of the fastest growth rates on the platform. This was the year chastity truly went mainstream.

How do you practice chastity?

People who practice chastity get pleasure from abstaining from sexual climax. Typically worn by men, chastity belts restrict an individual’s ability to orgasm until their partner, typically referred to as the “key holder” unlocks the device and gives them permission to. According to Clips4Sale, “chastity play can last anywhere from a few hours to weeks on end.”

The site adds that the obscure fetish can also be incorporated into other kinky sex acts like “sexual domination (the keyholder), submission (the caged), cuckolding, and humiliation.” Die-hard chastity enthusiasts eagerly celebrate “Locktober,” a month-long event where participants — primarily men — commit to enforced sexual abstinence.

Interestingly, Clips4Sale noted that some people in certain areas of the U.S. partake in chastity more than others. Kink enthusiasts in Florida and Pennsylvania have been the most avid searchers of restrictive chastity devices, while chastity itself topped the fetish search rankings in Idaho and Nebraska.

Here are a few other popular fetishes that may explode in 2025.

Chastity isn’t the only form of abstinence-based kink on the rise. According to the site, both the NoFap movement and the 4B movement have gained significant traction over the past year and may continue to grow in 2025.

The NoFap movement encourages abstaining from masturbation, with participants believing it brings physical, mental, and emotional benefits. Meanwhile, the 4B movement, which originated in South Korea in 2019, advocates for the “4 Noes” — rejecting heterosexual marriage, sex, childbirth, and dating, Mashable reported.

The movement started in 2019 in South Korea in response to an increasingly misogynistic culture that South Korean women feel constrains their rights and devalues their personhood,” the website noted.

The 4B movement gained further attention in the U.S. following Donald Trump’s election for a second term, emerging as a response to his administration’s contentious policies on women’s reproductive rights.
