Wyclef Jean greets supporters Thursday in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, after announcing his run for presidency. “If I can’t take five years out to serve my country as President,” he said, “then everything I’ve been singing about, like equal rights, doesn’t mean anything.” We thought of a bunch of reasons why this is a good move for ‘Clef, but apparently his former Fugee bandmate, Pras Michel, does not agree and is not supporting Wyclef’s run, because he is not the most competent. Is Pras hating or does he have a point?

We’re not mad at Alicia Key’s bikini baby bump! She and hubby Swizz Beatz were snapped last week while honeymooning in the South of France. Oh, yeah, Queen Latifah and her trainer/roomie Jeanette were there too!

It was a big week for Chris Brown. He performed at the after-party for his new movie Takers premiere in Los Angeles, and word is that the 21-year-old has just signed a lucrative deal with the Creative Arts Agency (CAA) – the world’s leading sports and entertainment agency. Can we officially call it a comeback?
