Terry Crews Says He and His Wife Had Three Miscarriages
Terry Crews Shockingly Shares That His Wife Rebecca Suffered Three Miscarriages
Terry Crews is getting candid about the heartbreaking loss he and his wife, Rebecca King-Crews, have experienced over the course of their marriage.
Crews shared that he and Rebecca have experienced a miscarriage, not one but three times. What prompted the 56-year-old to share this was a performance at the America’s Got Talent semi-finals that took place on Wednesday, Sept. 11. Crews reacted to Sky Elements after the company gave a beautiful drone show that told the story about a family experiencing the loss of a child.
“Me and my wife, we know what it’s like to lose a child,” the father-of-five told People. “We’ve had three miscarriages. It’s one of those things where it was so meaningful and special because the dedication is just, it’s a way to process these things.”

The “Friday After Next” star and his wife have been together for over thirty years, tying the knot in 1989. The two have since welcomed four daughters—Naomi Anna Burton, Azriél Patricia Crews, Tera Zella Crews, and Wynfrey “Winnie” Crews—and one son, Isaiah Samuel Crews.
Crews went on to commend Sky Elements for giving a performance he felt was necessary to the show. He said, “And how he brought that up, I was like, ‘Wow.’ I think the show needed it. … This is the perfect AGT show today.”
In 2021, The Lancet, a peer-reviewed medical journal, shared a study conducted on pregnancies by United Kingdom researchers. After analyzing 4.6 million pregnancies in seven different countries, the research from the study suggests that Black women are 43% more at risk of experiencing miscarriages than white women.
Professor Siobhan Quenby from the University of Warwick, who was also co-author of the study told CBS, that there is no clear explanation for this and that it’s “difficult to understand.” She added, “All we can suggest is perhaps they have more of these risk factors. We also think that maybe there’s some social factors in certain societies.”
The study further suggested that there are an estimated 23 million miscarriages that occur every year.
