Phaedra “Keep a job” Parks hopped on her Instagram to announce that she will be joining the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars (DWTS). We are pleased but not surprised. Parks is a ferocious go-getter with no issues finding the shade and the check.

The RHOA star shared the big news with a video captioned, “So excited for my new partner @phaedraparks 🍑🪩We need a team name, help?! #DWTS.”

The reel showed her veteran dance partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, tossing a peach in his hands and then throwing it up in the air to reveal a snatched Parks clad in a tiny black and silver fringe number that is perfect for shaking and twirling on the famous DWTS stage.

The lawyer wore her hair in blonde, butt-length loose curls that popped on her cinnamon-colored skin. At the end of the video, Parks and Chmerkovskiy happily embraced each other and showed excitement for their new forthcoming endeavor.

Other black stars set to star on season 33 alongside Parks include NBA star Dwight Howard, “Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin” actress Chandler Kinney and the dad from “Family Matters” Reginald VelJohnson.

It is the year of Phaedra Parks.

The internet’s running joke about Parks is that she never misses an opportunity to make a check; although funny, it’s true.

Ever since she stepped into the world of celebrity as a Georgia peach and diligent lawyer on the first season of RHOA, the entrepreneur made it clear that she was about to get to the bag.

Several years and jobs later, the southern diva is still standing even after enduring some public brawls, a divorce, a hiatus from RHOA, a spot on Married to Medicine, a highly anticipated RHOA season 16 return, and now this gig. We can’t help but applaud the author for her resilience and determination, all while displaying class and swagger.

DWTS, season 33, premieres Tuesday, Sept. 17, on ABC.
