Alicia Keys Preggers/Engaged to New Divorcee Swizz Beatz
We know who’s not invited to this baby shower.
Everyone collectively gasped this morning when it was confirmed by Alicia Keys’s camp that she is indeed ‘with child’ and engaged to singer, Mashonda’s newly ex-husband, Swizz Beatz.
The couple have been gallivanting about for months now– showing up to red carpet events, touring, shopping and even taking a trip to Hawaii together. Swizz Beatz, who started dating Keys in 2008 was just officially divorced from his wife of six years, Mashonda, earlier this month.
Although several general media outlets have ignored the fact that he was married with a toddler when he and Alicia started dating, we can’t forget the statement his ex-wife released late last year.
Congrats to the couple on the pregnancy, which truly is a blessing. And we hope that their relationship doesn’t bitterly end, like his previous one.
