Surprise, surprise…celebs hook up while they work together! I mean, why not? Don’t some people at our jobs hook up on the low (or not so low, lol)?  Anyway, here’s a list of a few former and current couples who have hooked up (some have never spoke on it but the rumor mill has always buzzed about it)! Who else can you think of?

Joss Stone & Raphael Saadiq

Here’s the thing: Joss Stone’s relationship history has also linked her to other producers. These two hooked up in 2007 when Joss was working on a new album – she was about 19 and he was 40.  If you let the internet streets tell it, she was dealing with him for beats.  That could be plausible seeing as how that relationship ended as soon as her album did…nothing.

India Arie & Musiq Soulchild

These two songbirds have always been kind of hush about the nature of their relationship so the TRUE origin of how they met is not fully known. Word has it that though they didn’t work together until India’s last album, they first met each other through working different shows together. Remember, they’re both part of the “neo-soul” sound and that circle of people (really, they’re just very talented soul singers) is pretty small.  Musiq said she was a person he really enjoyed spending time with and India has…not really ever said anything about their past relationship besides a little giggle. But through the years and various relationships (Musiq also has a son with Kameelah from 702), they appear to have remained good friends.

Mya & Silkk the Shocker

I thought that back in the day, I’d meet Mya and we’d come to blows for her dating my man Silkk. Anyway, they hooked up after doing the song “Movin On” and were together for almost four years. Sadly, Mya has fallen into this weird space where almost every time she has a male as a feature on one of her songs, people think they’ve slept together. She’s allegedly been linked to Jay-Z, Sisqo, and Timabaland – all of whom she’s worked with at some point.

Nicole Ari Parker & Boris Kodjoe

Awww, this is one of Black Hollywood’s favorite couples!  These two crazy kids met back when they were each other’s love interests on Soul Food: The Series as Teri and Damon.  That on-screen chemistry soon trickled off the screen and they’ve been together ever since! They’re married and have two adorable children.

Remy Ma & Papoose

They met through Papoose’s manager, DJ Kay Slay, who thought they’d work well together. The two ended up doing a song called “Bonnie & Clyde” and never lost touch. That work relationship flourished into an intimate one and in 2008, they were married…in prison. Yes, Remy is currently locked up serving an eight year sentence for her involvement in a shooting (she’s in her fourth year of the sentence).  Gotta love that hood love, huh?

Brandy & Fredro Starr

Now here we were, years after Moesha had gone off the air and this fool Fredro comes out of nowhere talking about his “other” relationship with Brandy.  He says that while they never slept together, there was an “oral transaction” received by him from Brandy and he thoroughly enjoyed it. I doubt Brandy ever acknowledged what he said because quite frankly, we only would have taken real notice had he said it while the show was still on.  But I guess he would have been out of a job then so…

Tarsha McMillan-Hamilton & Anthony Hamilton

Behind every good SANGER (not singer) there are usually some amazing background singers. Tarsha McMillan was one of those background singers for Anthony Hamilton. They dated and were married in 2005.  In 2010, they welcomed twin boys and in December 2011, Anthony announced that they were expecting again. As a father of five boys (Anthony has three kids prior to meeting Tarsha), I wonder if he’s hoping he gave them a girl!
