The demand for sexually-free and experimental environments like sex clubs is increasing. And it’s not surprising, seeing as traditional monogamous relationships might soon be as outdated as skinny jeans and the iPhone 10. Roughly one-third of American adults say they prefer a non-monogamous relationship (according to YouGov).
Thousands of adults want to explore sexual interactions outside the confines of a conventional relationship, but also outside of their private residences. In fact, they want to experience a full buffet of options when it comes to partners and pleasures. Sex venues, such as nightclubs, lounges and private penthouses, have answered that call. But, they’re not always as easy to spot as a Sephora or a McDonalds. You need to know where to look. Here are some of the top sex venues and members-only sex clubs across the U.S.
SNCTM
Los Angeles + NYC
If you always assumed elaborate masked sex parties took places in the Hollywood Hills with some of the city’s most elite socialites, you were correct. SNCTM is a private, member’s only club that’s essentially for the rich and famous. The club hosts private soirees in the likes of mansions and penthouses where members can explore their fantasies. Basic memberships start for a modest $10,000 per year for gentlemen. Women can attend events for free. Everyone must undergo an extensive vetting process. People can apply as couples, or as individuals.

Power Exchange
San Francisco
Power Exchange is a multi-room “adult” night club where guests can explore nearly every type of kink, fetish and fantasy. It’s essentially a maze of X-rated debauchery for guests of every gender and sexual orientation. There are rules of conduct, as stated on their website, including that this is an alcohol- and substance-free zone, and “condoms are required for penetration, not oral.” The club hosts some rotating theme nights, such as Swinger Saturdays and Freak Fridays.
House Of Scorpio Events
New York City
Gemini and Scorpio are an event-planning duo who create immersive, sex-positive and often costumed parties for individuals looking to explore their curiosities. One of their recurring events is the Lip Service party, which happens the second Friday of every month at a loft in Brooklyn (details provided when you reserve your spot). The event involves sexy games, costumes, cocktails and…pretty much whatever you want to do (with the consent of other guests) from there.

Club Vixxxins
Goodyear, AZ
Club Vixxxins is a members-only club for kink enthusiasts and swingers. While it has a reputation as a swingers club, Vixxxins welcomes everyone of every sexual orientation, gender and relationship status so singles, married couples, polyamorous individuals and more are welcome to apply. Events take place at underground, eclectic venues in the area and usually feature themes. Public and private “play areas” can be found throughout the venues, along with some more traditional party offering like DJs, buffets, cocktails and sexy games.
Trapeze Club

Trapeze Club is like a sex and super club in one. There is a dress code, and guests are required to “dress to impress,” plus there is a rotating menu of five-star cuisine prepared by private chefs. Couples and single women are welcome to attend all nights, while single men are only allowed to attend on select nights. Guests start the night by mingling and enjoying BYOB drinks at the buffet, and when they get “cozy” can move back to the clothing-optional area.

Labyrinth Club

Labyrinth is a members-only, on-premise swinger and fetish club with a dark and seductive sex dungeon atmosphere. Both clubs in LA and NYC are multi-level clubs with private and public play areas where guests play out fantasies and explore kinks with or without an audience. The club is BYOB, but there is additional non-alcoholic bar service and food provided. There is an enforced dress code (think club formal) and single men undergo a vetting process for membership approval.
Playhouse
Las Vegas
Playhouse puts on private and exclusive members-only events for swingers that take place at venues around Las Vegas, as well as an on-site discreet speakeasy location two blocks off the strip. Anyone is welcome to apply, but not all are admitted – the current board of members decides on new members. Most events welcome couples and single women, and some welcome single men (who pay a premium). These are alcohol-free events with a “sexy clubwear” dress code. Members are free to explore the more public play areas, complete with stages, or move into private rooms.
