Weddings: Chelsea Clinton and Mark Mezvinsky

The media has been buzzing for the past three weeks about the details of Chelsea Clinton’s tightly kept wedding to G3 Capital investment banker, Marc Mezvinsky.

The lovebirds met in 1993 when they were teenagers at a Democratic political retreat. Their parents political ties, with both of Mezvinsky’s parents being in Congress, kept them constantly together in Washington. Although the former commander in chief’s daughter was close to Mezvinsky, even attending Stanford University together, they remained friends until 2005 when they both moved to New York. There were rumors that the wedding would be last year, but close family and friends knew different. They didn’t receive a “Save the Date” until November.

According to a New York Magazine report, Chelsea will be wearing either Vera Wang or Oscar de la Renta, the ceremony will be at Astor Court estates in Rhinebeck, NY, Oprah Winfrey may have been invited and the Gores won’t be attending.

One thing that isn’t a mystery is Bill and Hilary excitement for their daughter’s wedding. “I always thought being her father was my most important job, so it’s a big day for me,” Bill Clinton said in February. “It is the biggest day in her life, probably, and I’m happy.”
