In episode two of season thirteen of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” the newest cast members, Drew Sidora and LaToya Ali were both introduced to viewers and well, they gave us quite a bit to talk about. For one, both women are experiencing serious trouble within their marriages. LaToya is presently separated and Drew, while still with her spouse, is frequently threatened by divorce.
“We’re getting a divorce every other day,” Drew told Marlo, Cynthia, and LaToya during a visit at Lake Bailey. “My husband will say we’re getting a divorce. We’ll say, ‘Okay, we’re getting our own places and lawyers..’ Last week, he left and didn’t tell me where he was. He was gone for like three days. My husand is a runner.”
In addition to their turbulent marriages, it appears that there could be some tension brewing between Drew and Kenya and possibly LaToya and Cynthia, but only time will tell.

Kenya and LaToya have bonded over their troubled marriages
Kenya Moore and LaToya Ali have very obviously hit things off in a major way, which is interesting since the former pageant queen has a habit of shading the new women that join the series. It appears that the two have bonded over the shared experience of being at the end of their marriages. It’s also pretty clear that Cynthia is jealous of their newfound friendship.
Porsha has grown tremendously
We all remember when Porsha shared that she thought the Underground Railroad was an actual train. The revelation was particularly embarrassing considering her family’s deep ties with the Civil Rights Moment. However, as evidenced by her recent activist work, she has grown dramatically — something that can be at least partially attributed to the birth of her daughter, Pilar.

It was obvious that there was going to be some tension between Drew and Kenya
Though one can never know where each cast member’s allegiance will lie by the time the reunion show is filmed, it seemed obvious from day one that there would be tension between Kenya and Drew. When Cynthia suggested that the women may know each other since they both having acting experience, Drew was quick to call out the fact that they are not reading for roles in the same age bracket before adding that her competitors are more established actresses such as Naturi Naughton and Lauren London. While not one lie was told by Drew, the intended shade was quite apparent.
The writing has been on the wall for a long time with Porsha and Dennis
It’s been obvious for quite some time that the end of Porsha and Dennis’ relationship is probably inevitable. From his decision to cheat on her while she was pregnant with his child to his continued inappropriate conduct after the fact to his inability to truly take accountability for his actions, it has never truly seemed as though their relationship had what it takes to be sustainable. And though in realtime, we know that the two have separated, it’s still interesting to see Porsha coming to terms with this on the show.

Are we still talking about this proposal?
Was it messed up when Kenya and her blabbermouth almost spoiled Cynthia’s engagement? Yes. But she apologized for it last season and she has done way more salacious things than that during season twelve. So it’s pretty interesting that she’s still discussing and expressing remorse for the situation a whole season later.
There’s some interesting sexual energy between Kenya and LaToya
Although they’ve bonded over their impending divorces, there’s something else that seems to be tying Kenya and LaToya together and that thing seems to be potential sexual attraction. Besides the fact that previews for the rest of the season show the women joking about having a crush on each other, the attraction was also extremely obvious in the living room scene at Lake Bailey.

Cynthia and Kenya are both jealous friends
When Cynthia first introduced Kenya to Drew, the reaction was pretty similar to when Kenya introduced LaToya to Cynthia.
“Cynthia, where do you get all of these strays from, honey? Do you just visit the local pound,” Kenya said in her confessional. “Seeing Drew, I’m just kind of underwhelmed.”
The patterns are obvious. Neither of these women really know how to share one another with other friends.
Latoya said what we were all thinking
When LaToya first came out and said that she didn’t like Drew, everyone looked confused, but as she went on to jokingly explain her reason, it all began to make sense.
“This is why I don’t like you, Drew, because of ‘The Game,’ she broke up Melanie and Derwin,” said LaToya.
And apparently, Toya isn’t the only one.
“People do not let me live,” Drew said in her confessional. “After I played myself, Drew Sidora on ‘The Game,’ I was a side chick, but art does not imitate life.”
Marlo tried to put LaToya up on game
LaToya seems like a nice girl, but she’s a bit too trusting of Kenya, who can’t seem to sustain a long-term friendship with anyone on the cast aside from Kenya and Kandi. So it was interesting to see Marlo pull LaToya to the side and put her up on game. “Don’t be over there telling Kenya all of your business,” Marlo told LaToya. “She’ll use it against you, b-tch.” And while some would say that this is due to the fact that Kenya and Marlo don’t like each other, she also told no lies.
Drew’s marriage is in deep trouble
All marriages experience their share of obstacles, but it appears that Drew’s marriage to Ralph is on life support. In addition to the fact that she says her husband threatens divorce every other day, it was also revealed that he leaves their marital home for days at a time.
“I’ve actually left for days,” Ralph told Cynthia’s husband, Mike. “Of course, I make sure everything is together, but at the same time, I have to find a space because if I’m not happy, I’m not good for anyone.”
“My husband will say we’re getting a divorce. We’ll say, ‘Okay, we’re getting our own places and lawyers,'” Drew told her co-stars. “Last week, he left and didn’t tell me where he was. He was gone for like three days.”
Adding to the toxicity is the fact that Drew’s mother, who does not get along with Ralph, is living with them and the fact that Ralph apparently has a habit of secretly recording his wife against her knowledge and consent.
