When you’re pregnant, it doesn’t really hit you until you start to develop a baby bump. Within a couple of months, your tummy goes from flat to full to full-blown belly…so that means that you have to temporarily say goodbye to the wardrobe you know and love.
In the beginning, you look like you had seconds or thirds at Thanksgiving dinner, so play it off by wearing your baggy jeans, stretchy pants, loose shirts and dresses that don’t hug your waist. Easy. But as time goes on, you’ll need to buy *gasp* actual maternity fashion.
In general, your maternity style will mirror your regular style: if you’re a conservative dresser, you’ll usually continue to dress that way.
