Holly Robinson Peete Considered for New CBS Show
CBS Corporation has new plans in store for the network this fall once their long-running soap operas come to a close.
The network is set to launch a new show geared toward women to compete with ABC’s hit series, “The View” which will be hosted by television favorites – Holly Robinson Peete being one of the ladies behind the booth. Julie Chen of “The Early Show”, Sharon Osbourne, Sara Gilbert of the televison show, “Roseanne,” and Leah Remini of “The King of Queens” are just some of the women being considered for the daily talk show.
The transition will take the place of “As the World Turns” in September and air the hour-long show in a ploy to boost ratings for the network. On Wednesday, CBS suggested that the new show discusses news-related events from the mother’s perspective. All women are mothers and are involved with celebrity mates.
