#LHHATL: Kirk And Rasheeda Are Not Couple Goals, But They Don't Have To Be

While this commenter said they don’t think Kirk and Rasheeda will ever be “marriage goals,” another Twitter user said if the couple are, then they can keep that.

“Everyone saying Kirk and Rasheeda are goals need to look up the meaning and review their relationship. He cheated too many times, had an outside kid, made her look like a fool in public and she stayed. If that’s goals, y’all can keep that.” 

This commenter said they aren’t feeling the perfect marriage narrative being forced about Kirk and Rasheeda. Someone else said their 20 years together, through so many ups and downs, is what happens when a young woman gets with an older man.

“Rasheeda‘s relationship with Kirk shows you the dangers of grown men being in relationships with teenage girls/younger adult women. 20 years later and she’s still fighting for a man who incists on making her look like a fool on national television.”

After nine seasons, some commenters said they were over the couple’s storyline.

“I’m so over this Rasheeda and Kirk storyline. These females act so damn dumb and naive like a damn teenager, but they are grown, ass women. I’m still trying to figure out the Love in Love & HipHop.”

This shady commenter was quite surprised at how much Rasheeda loves her some Kirk. But they’re not the only one not to get it.

“Something in my soul still doesn’t sit right with Rasheeda and Kirk staying together after he’s publicly embarrassed her numerous times. But also PROPS to sis for tolerating his ass for 20 whole years…”

Commenters like the one above said they didn’t need any further convincing from Kirk and Rasheeda that they’re so madly in love. One commenter even said she didn’t want to watch them be all lovey-dovey anymore.

“I’m happy Kirk n Rasheeda worked it out but I just can’t watch em together anymore. I’m still mad. “

Someone tried accuse Rasheeda of being brainwashed, saying “I’m now at the point where I think Rasheeda is legit brainwashed by Kirk to stay at his side, especially now knowing she started “dating” him at 17.” 

Another person remarked, “When they said Kirk and rasheeda were a power couple where’s the power ??”

A commenter said producers were “trying to sell Kirk, his 3 earrings and Rasheeda as a ‘power couple,’ while someone else kindly asked producers to give viewers a break from them.

“Imma need Mona to stop forcing Kirk and Rasheeda’s marriage on us. Please and thank you”

“All I know is… whenever a woman says Kirk and Rasheeda are goals ….. SHE’S BEEN CHEATED ON MULTIPLE TIMES TOO,” said another.

Aside from the shock of knowing the couple have lasted this long, a commenter mocked their excitement for another 20 years.

“So Rasheeda said it’s 20 years of good times with Kirk but yet he cheated multiple times (On TV), had an outside kid, disrespected her mother & just generally made her look foolish…..All of this in public. They are nowhere near marriage goals.”

“I seriously get disgusted EVERY time Kirk & Rasheeda bring up being together for 20yrs,” said one commenter who isn’t feeling their happily ever after. “like this CANT be marriage”

“I ain’t watched Love & Hip Hop Atlanta since high school and I’ve come to the conclusion Rasheeda will never leave Kirk,” remarked another.
