Let’s be honest, it’s crowded, you’re surrounded with intoxicated people and if you’re from a place like New York City, it’s freezing outside! Staying inside and being around your loved ones could be just as fun or even better. Here’s a few fun activities you can do to bring in the new year.

Game Night

A game night can help you have a night full of fun with all of your loved ones by your side. Breaking out the Spades, Charades or Dominoes can fill your last night of 2019 with laughs and excitement. Having a vision board party is a great way to head into the new year. Make sure everyone brings old magazines, poster boards, scissors and glue so they can create their visual of goals.

Food always brings people together and what better time to do that than New Year’s Eve. During New Year’s Eve there are certain foods that symbolize prosperity, like how collard greens symbolize money and black-eyed peas represent luck. While feasting, you and your family/friends can reflect about 2019 and what you want to manifest in 2020.

Paint Party

Spend the last night of 2019 tapping into your artsy side and painting, but you don’t just have to paint on a canvas. Painting on wine glasses or glass mugs can be just as fun. Make sure you buy some acrylic paint or enamel paint to make sure your paint sticks and your design long-lasting.
