Extra Full Volume and High Ponies Are a Must
“The early 2000s was all about straight hair and waves, well this new decade is all about BIG hair and volume,” she said. “With women finally embracing their natural curls, the bigger the curls, the better! To give your hair that extra oomph, I recommend using a lightweight formula with collagen such as the Dove Style + Care Volume & Fullness Mousse.”

The Retro Hair Flip Is Back
“The ’60s flip hairstyle is back in 2020 and I am thinking it will be the hottest red carpet look yet! From Hailey Bieber walking the 2019 Met Gala to JLO’s iconic look at the Versace runway, you’ve definitely seen this trend lately,” she said. “While the top of the hair is styled perfectly straight, the ends are dramatically flipped in both directions. Now, stylists are getting even more creative with this style, adding it to high ponies and half updos. Better get the hairspray ready!”

A Healthy Scalp Means Healthy Hair
“I believe in the last couple of years with the rise of the Natural Hair Movement, we’ve neglected the scalp and have only concentrated on the hair. Well, I have a feeling that 2020 will be different and people will realize that a healthy scalp leads to healthy hair!” she said. “Whether you’re experiencing an itchy or dry scalp, I recommend using the Dove DermaCare Scalp collection. Formulated with Active Pyrithione Zinc, these ingredients help lower levels of yeast on the scalp, ultimately leaving strands moisturized and smooth.”
