Associate Counsel for the Minnesota Vikings

It takes a lot more than scoring points and winning championships to keep the sports industry thriving. That’s where Demeka Fields comes in and succeeds. As Associate Counsel for the Minnesota Vikings’ legal and business affairs division, Fields is responsible for drafting contracts, corporate sponsorships, special events, media deals, and much more. Her legal expertise also provides the NFL team with assessing risk management and relationships with clients and partners. There are only a handful of Black female attorneys working for NFL teams, so when people see Fields in boardrooms, they are witnessing history being made. The Augusta, GA native attended Howard University during her undergrad years and Tulane University Law School.
