Cardi Talks About Stopping Her Period To Have Sex With Offset

Yesterday, we reported that Cardi shared the story of sexual assault she experienced at the hands of a photographer. But that wasn’t the only untold story she revealed to legendary DJ Angie Martinez in the new VH1 series “Untold Stories of Hip Hop.”

She also talked about a time she stopped her period in order to have sex with her now-husband Offset.

She told Martinez, “This is the beginning of the stage of my f*cking relationship with this guy and I really wanted to impress him, right? I ain’t spoke to him in like three days and I don’t feel like he like me as much. So I’m trying to impress him and everything. Then I got my f*cking period. I was like, ‘Damn. I ain’t going to see this n*gga in another week because I got a crazy schedule but I don’t want to leave him dry.’

I drunk like two Ibuprofen and I drunk gelatin. Oh yes baby. And that stopped my period. And I f*cked him.”

Later in the episode, Cardi spoke about her decision to have Kulture. Even though people in her camp encouraged her to prioritize her career.

“When I found out, it was, like, around the weeks that you could find out the sex, and I wanted to find out the sex right the…away. And, like, when they said I have a girl… I was — Oh, man. I have a girl? That means that God wants me to have a baby because I always wanted a girl.”
