The Black Girls Rock! Carpet Was Filled Bold Fashion And Bolder Hair

On Sunday night, the Black Girls Rock! Awards took place in Newark, New Jersey, and a who’s who of your favorite women stepped out in some fierce, colorfully printed and at times, even futuristic fashions. Not only that, the hair was just as bold as the fashion. As you can see below, Erykah Badu came out in fur and flowers, there were colorful braids from Brandy, bantu knots from Rapsody, big curls from H.E.R. and chic TWAs from a few beauties. The women took advantage of funky accessories (see Ciara) and shined from head to toe. The carpet showings proved that not only do Black Girls Rock! but they are still the best trendsetters.
