Terry Crews' Wife Sheds Tears In New "Black Love" Trailer
Black Love Season 3: Terry Crews’ Wife Doubled Over In Tears Over Marriage’s Painful Past
If you ask me, “Black Love” is one of the best things to ever happen to OWN. It’s equal parts sweet and educational and inspirational. You learn so much about how different people love, what it takes to sustain love and how some people manage to overcome some of the potential challenges that can arise when two people decide to live their lives together.
The series for those who don’t know interviews Black couples about how they met, fell in love, the obstacles they face and how they stay in love. The series usually features famous Black couples and season 3 will include LeToya Luckett and Tommicus Walker, Terry Crews and Rebecca King Crews, Dondre Whitfield and Salli Richardson-Whitfield, Kandi Burress and Todd Tucker , comedian Kevin Fredricks (KevOnStage) and Melissa Fredricks (Mrs. Kev On Stage), David and Tamela Man, Egypt Sherrod and DJ Mike Jackson, Ricky Bell and Amy Correa.
This third season also features the series first Black gay male couple.
In addition to the cutesy details of their relationship, there were real tears shed as the couples discussed their struggles.
Bell said, “I think there’s this false belief that when you get married and you fall in love that that love that you have for each other and those feelings that you have for each other is going to be enough.”
When Crews speaks about finding his way back to his wife, she’s literally bent over in silent tears.
Crews said, “I knew there was a small door because even though we weren’t together, I knew I saw light that we could come back here, that I could come back in and that was all I needed.”
