Ever want to feel like a beauty editor or Instagram influencer for a day? Go to Beautycon. The annual beauty extravaganza celebrated it’s 5th year in production this past Saturday and Sunday at the Jacob Javitz Center. The event had brands like Target, Fashion Nova, Shea Moisture, Lime Crime, and lots, lots more represented at the center with Instagrammable booths with perfect lighting and someone to take your picture as well as a plethora of free samples being given out to attendees. Beauty lovers could get their nails done or their hair touched up, lashes were being done. It was a beauty lovers dream. To take it to the next level, attendees could meet all their favorite YouTubers and celebs. There were panels throughout the day talking about representation, beauty myths and more. The festival drove home the message that all were welcome and it showed in the diverse crowd.
