Jack Johnson’s Wife Flushed $100k Check as Agents Closed In
(Washington Examiner) — Prince George’s County Jack Johnson and his wife were arrested Friday on corruption charges after a sting in which the head of the county government accepted $15,000 in cash from a developer. Jack Johnson, 61, and his wife, Leslie Johnson — who was elected to the Prince George’s County Council earlier this month — were charged with tampering with evidence related to the commission of a federal offense, destruction of records in a federal investigation and aiding and abetting.
