Conflicting Rallies Meet in the Middle
(Washington Informer) — Despite what some political analysts believed would be conflicting marches with diametrically opposing viewpoints, residents and visitors to the D.C. metropolitan area witnessed a congruent call for better citizenship and prayer from both camps.
In one camp, Fox News commentator Glenn Beck, who had for months preceding the Restoring Honor Rally held on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial on Sat., Aug. 28, used his news show as a platform for a national group of progressives, known as the Tea Party Movement.
