London Fashion Week has come to a close and Milan Fashion Week has just begun. While New York Fashion Week is known to be the most diverse, there is still a long way to go globally. While London has been dealing with Brexit, their runways showed some diversity (but not nearly enough). It was unfortunate that the trend for their Black models looked like it was blown out hairstyles and relaxed hair (if the models hair showed at all). We are in a season of elaborate headpieces and LFW had many to inspire your next garden party. While they may not be appreciating the beauty of a twist out or kinky curly hair, we picked out 19 of our favorite outfits we spotted on the LFW runways featuring Black models rocking their natural hair. Black models matter so click through our gallery and show some love to the melanin across the pond.
