Bambi And Scrappy Had A Pretty Adorable '90s-Themed Baby Shower

Bambi and Scrappy‘s son is set to make his arrival soon enough. To celebrate the new addition to their family, Bambi’s best friend, Basketball Wives star Malaysia Pargo, threw the couple a ’90s-themed baby shower. With #TheFreshPrinceofAtlanta as the tag, guests came to the party dressed in ensembles inspired by looks from that decade, as well as dressed like stars who were popular during that time. The mom-to-be dressed up as Aaliyah in the “Try Again” video (and yes, we’re aware that song wasn’t released until 2001…), while Scrappy, still healing from a broken foot due to his recent car accident, wore denim overalls and a throwback shirt.

The couple shared that their son was going to be named Breland Richardson (Scrappy’s real name is Darryl Richardson), and they enjoyed old-school treats, including classic cigarette-fashioned gum and nostalgic candy, as well as a freestyle game to see who could rap the best. Famous friends Rasheeda and Kirk Frost celebrated with the couple, along with other friends and family.

And even though Bambi originally wasn’t looking to have a baby shower for some reason, she expressed her gratitude to Malaysia for her efforts.

“Thank you friend… the 90s themed baby shower #FreshPrinceofAtlanta was perfect. I love youuuuuu!!!” she wrote on Instagram. “I had the best time celebrating with all our family and friends. I didn’t wanna have a baby shower but @malaysiainthecity was not trying to hear that at all. I’m so happy you put this together.”

The pair announced the pregnancy back in April when Bambi was about 20 weeks, so the Love and Hip Hop Atlanta couple only have a few weeks left to go before Breland arrives. They have been married since 2017, and he has daughter Emani from his past relationship with Erica Dixon.
