Even though they’ve only been married since 2014, Ludacris and Eudoxie Bridges (formerly Mbouguiengue) have known each other for 10 years as of today. Eudoxie celebrated that milestone by expressing her love for her husband on Instagram.
“Wow! Today marks 10 years we’ve known each other. We met August 30th Ludaday weekend 2008 but don’t get it twisted he didn’t get to kiss these lips until 2009,” she joked. “I’m glad we made it work for us because there’s no one I’d rather go through this life with. 10 years later and we are better friends, lovers, parents, and partners.”
That day was certainly one that changed the beauty’s life, not only because she met her future husband, but also because the course of her life changed, too. When the couple got together, she was reportedly studying medicine, but has since chosen to focus on their family. However, don’t get it confused, Eudoxie got quite far with her education, as she reminded people in 2015 after some tried to say she dropped out of school to be with the rapper.
“I’m far from a so called ‘drop out,'” she wrote on Instagram. “I came to this country to further my education contrary to what you have been told. I am the first in my family to graduate from high school, to have a Bachelor and Graduate Degree. My goals to make them proud were accomplished. I’ve paved the way for my siblings and others to follow.”
Ludacris and Eudoxie, as previously mentioned, wed in 2014 on the same day he proposed. They have since welcomed a daughter named Cadence. He also has two other daughters (Karma and Cai) from previous relationships.
To celebrate the day they first met, we thought we’d take a look at pictures from the early years of their relationship up until now. They’ve come a long way, including in terms of style. Check them out.
