Karlie Redd Freezing Her Eggs

Karlie Redd shocked the world (or the segment of it that watches Love & Hip Hop Atlanta) when she announced, on Instagram, she had gotten engaged. Despite what most reality TV fans thought, it wasn’t Young Joc or anyone we had seen in her dating past. While we may not have seen the mystery man before, Karlie revealed in a candid chat, she’s been dating Arkansas Mo, on and off for some time. He finally decided to put a ring on it.

While discussing her engagement and new single Ferrari Karlie, Karlie revealed she is actively trying to have another baby and freezing her eggs so she can have a boy.

“Right now I’m in the process of freezing my eggs. I have a girl, my fiance has a girl and we really want a boy. I am at the height of my career,” she said “I want a boy and I want my boy to see everything that I’m doing so I can teach him what to do and what not to do.”

Karlie clarified that she isn’t freezing her eggs because of age, but because she doesn’t want to have a girl. “I don’t want to have sex and then I have a girl. I know what I want. If I say I want a boy, I want a boy. My doctor said this is what I have to do.”

She also admitted they’ve been doing the process for a while now. “Way before I even got engaged, I’ve been thinking about this for a while. A lot of people are freezing their eggs and saving it for later.”
