With June being Pride Month, the celebration of the contributions of all is one that honestly should be pushed all-year round. And while the contributions of so many marginalized groups are finally starting to get a bit of their recognition, there are still some that get overlooked all the time, like the LGBTQ community. From hairstylists to makeup artists, there are tons of people working behind the scenes to give us all those lewwwwwks that our fave celebs serve. But who, exactly, is behind the scenes? Here’s a look at 12 people who are making waves (no pun intended) and keeping us all glam and fabulous.

NICK BAROSE
Nick Barose got his start working under the legendary Kevin Aucoin. Now he does looks for women like Lupita Nyong’o (oh, no biggie!).
NEIL FARINAH
The Trinidadian hairstylist is responsible for some of Bey’s stylish hairstyles and is currently on tour with her for OTRII. This young makeup artist is slaying the game and has also worked with Kelly Rowland, Solange, Mya, and more.
