When it comes to naturalistas, we’re finally starting to see more women embrace their hair, however it may come. Whether it’s silky smooth or kinky-curly, we’re learning how to love up on our naturalness while preserving the health and integrity of our crown!

Of course, the growth of 4B and 4C hair bloggers has definitely played a huge role in that conversation. Now through social media, we see bloggers and everyday people taking us through the stylistic rituals they cater to most for their tresses, and honestly, we’re happy as hell. Natural hair, in all textures, matters!

In case you need a bit of #BlackGirlMagic inspo, check out these bloggers you can follow right on the gram.

I have followed Yolanda Renee for YEARS, long before the natural hair movement was really a thing that was openly embraced. Not only does Yolanda provided helpful tips on her Instagram on how you achieve cute and fresh bantu knot twist-outs like this, but she also provides tips on styling children’s hair, usually using her own as examples.

This list wouldn’t be complete without Patrice Yursik, otherwise known as Afrobella, otherwise known to many as the Godmother of brown beauty blogging. Not only was Afrobella blogging about brown beauty at a time that it wasn’t trendy or cool, but she was one of the first examples for many Black women on open discussions with our kinks and coils. A true pioneer!

I’ve also followed Laila-Jean — also known as Fusion of Cultures founder — for years, mostly because her bubbly personality pairs perfectly with the way in which she takes us on the journey of personal hair-care (plus she chops her own hair, so she definitely teaches us a thing or two!)

Maria Antoinette is not only a longtime naturalista in the game, but she’s graduated to also become on-air talent and an entrepreneur. Her hair knowledge, mixed with her bubbly and amazing personality, make her easily relatable while still making her #hairgoals all DAY.

While one may not necessarily say that Cipriana Quann, and her equally fabulous sister, TK Wonder, are hair bloggers, none can deny their influence on the visibility of thick, coarse hair. In a world that constantly seeks to change our looks, these two prove that staying true to yourself works out in the end.

Mariana Santos is a Brazilian YouTuber with thick, luscious curls that she shows off on her highly enviable IG page. Not only does she constantly show healthy, thick hair, but also protective styles like wigs and braids she utilizes in-between. Que linda!
