Meghan Markle Looks Stunning In Givenchy Wedding Dress On Her Wedding Day

Today is the big day for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle!
The Duchess of Sussex made a beautiful bride as she tied the knot to her new hubby at St. George’s Chapel inside the Windsor Castle in Windsor, England. Instead of opting for a British designer, she walked down the aisle in a wedding gown designed by Givenchy’s Clare Waight Keller, the first female artistic director at Givenchy. The ivory, silk dress was adorned with a hand-embroidered 16.5-foot silk tulle veil. Markle’s veil was secured with Queen Mary’s diamond bandeau tiara, which was borrowed from Queen Elizabeth II.

In a statement from Kensington Palace, Markle was said to be choose this particular gown because of its “timeless and elegant aesthetic, impeccable tailoring, and relaxed demeanour.”

Among her 2,200 guests were Serena Williams and her husband Alexis Ohanian, Idris Elba and his fiance, Sabrina Dhowre, Oprah Winfrey and Amal Clooney.
