Saturday is the big day.
On May 19, a majority of the world’s eyes will be on Windsor Castle in the UK, where Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will wed inside of St. George’s Chapel. It will be a pretty major event, especially since Markle will be the first woman of color to join the royal family. But thankfully, she won’t be the sole person of color (aside from her mother) present (600 people were invited by the way), nor will she be the sole celebrity. Indeed, Meghan Markle’s royal wedding guest list is top tier.
Check out a few of the women who will be bringing some color to the royal wedding, as well as a few other well-connected and familiar faces (or names) who were invited to the wedding of the year.

Serena Williams
The tennis legend and Markle reportedly met in 2010 at Super Bowl XLIV in Miami. They kept in touch after the fact and grew to be very good friends. Williams has already arrived with husband Alexis Ohanian and their daughter, Alexis, Jr., in London for the festivities.

Gina Torres
Torres was Markle’s co-star on the hit USA series, Suits. She told Today this week that the cast knew that Markle was dating Prince Harry before the rest of the world did and said of that time, “You knew she was excited.”

Priyanka Chopra
The Quantico actress and Markle are newer, but fast friends. They met at an ELLE Women in Television event in 2016 and grew close. Markle has even said she told Chopra, “my dream is to work with her on a Bollywood film, because I think it would be so much fun – she said I should do it!”

Oprah Winfrey
While it’s unclear if she’s a friend of Markle or Prince Harry, Oprah is Oprah, so she’s kind of like a big deal. Therefore, it’s not a shock that the billionaire and Queen of Talk is there. And she’s reportedly been seen hanging out in the past with Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland.

Idris Elba
Elba seems to be a friend of Prince Harry, and months ago, he was invited to a dinner at Buckingham Palace with fiancée Sabrina Dowhre where he hung out with Prince Charles.

Janina Gavankar
The actress, who has been on True Blood, Sleepy Hollow and Vampire Diaries, has been friends with Markle for 15 years. Speaking on how they communicate, Gavankar told Good Morning America, “we sit on FaceTime or Skype and we talk for hours, mostly about things that are intensely important to us.”

Amal Clooney
Amal and Markle have been friends for a little while, and because she is a lover of humanitarian work, it makes sense that she would be friends with the human rights lawyers. Amal and husband George reportedly own a home 30 minutes away from Windsor Castle.
Benita Litt
An entertainment lawyer and co-CEO of the “exotic caryall” selling site that is Legend of Lido, the friends have traveled together, and Litt’s kids are Markle’s goddaughters. Those goddaughters, Rylan and Remi, will be bridesmaids in the wedding:
Now that we’ve seen the few people of color who will be guests, hit the flip to check out a few other famous faces attending…

Sarah Rafferty
If you’re a Suits fan like us, then you know Rafferty as Donna Paulsen on the show. Both women (and Torres) were on the show since Season 1, and in that time, they built a friendship. Or as she puts it, a family.
“We were with each other longer than we went to college or high school with our friends, so we became family in a way,” Rafferty said. “We’re still family, so this is a wonderful family affair.”

Victoria Beckham
Of course you know Posh Spice. The former Spice Girl and designer is said to be a good friend of Markle’s. She was also at Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton’s wedding in 2011 because husband David Beckham is friendly with Prince Harry’s big brother.

Patrick J. Adams
Another Suits co-star, but a very special one. Adams played Markle’s on-screen love interest, Mike Ross, and like her, left the series at the end of Season 7. He is in London with his real-life wife, actress Troian Bellisario, for the wedding.

Jessica Mulroney
A well-known Canadian stylist who has worked with Canada’s First Lady, Sophie Grégoire-Trudeau, Mulroney is said to be Markle’s very best friend. She has been spotted hanging out with Markle in London at the Invictus Games, and her daughter and two sons will serve as a bridesmaid and page boys in the wedding.

Misha Nonoo
A popular American-based fashion designer, Nonoo is said to be the one who paired Markle and Prince Harry up. Markle has also been seen out and about in London in Nonoo’s pieces.
