“He doesn’t participate. He shows up when it’s fun,” she said.
According to Kelis, Nas has only been paying $8,000 in support to cover all the costs for Knight’s upbringing, but what makes it harder is that she claims he hasn’t tried to be as present as he should for the 8-year-old.
“He started supporting where it was sort of consistent and where it became consistent, about two years ago,” she said. “My child is 8 and he’ll be 9 in July. So I didn’t get not a single cent until 2012.”
