Fabolous Asks Judge To Delay His Court Date In Domestic Violence Case Against Emily B.

Rapper Fabulous has asked the court to delay his domestic violence case against the mother of his children, Emily Bustamante.
According to our sister site Bossip, the 40-year-old Brooklyn rapper was set to appear in front of a judge on Wednesday. Fabolous is currently facing charges of aggravated assault and making terroristic threats. But at the last minute, his lawyer asked a judge to delay the date. His lawyer didn’t offer a reason why.
The judge agreed to delay the court date, giving Fabolous a three-week reprieve. His new date has been pushed back to mid-May.
The charges are the result of a video showing him threatening Bustamante, her brother, and father, telling them that he had bullets with their names on it. There were also text messages between Fab and Emily, supporting that same story. Fabolous was holding some type of object, he kept pointing at the family members during the tense exchange.
Bustamante said that Fabolous punched her in the face seven times, causing her to have her two front teeth medically removed.
If convicted, he’ll face 3-5 years in state prison on the assault charges alone.
Before the video of his threats was released, Fabolous said that 2018 was breaking his heart and posted some cryptic message about God showing people the truth. Since the video has leaked and he’s been charged with assault and making terroristic threats, he hasn’t referenced the incident. Instead, he’s posted images from recent performances, his children with Bustamante, his fashion and commented about “negative vibes.”
Ironic.
