Jill Scott’s Estranged Husband Granted A Restraining Order Against Her

Mike Dobson, who was married to singer Jill Scott for 15 months, has been granted a restraining order against the singer to keep her from bashing him in the media.
“We are very pleased with the decision today of the court to also grant our restraining order,” Dobson’s lawyer James Walker Jr. told BOSSIP. “We are hopeful now that Ms. Scott Williams will refrain from posting anything negative about Mr. Dobson, whether direct or indirect, whether implied or by innuendo.”
According to court documents, Dobson claimed that Scott was posting statuses and other content on Facebook that were subliminal messages about him and their short-lived union.
Scott was already granted her own restraining order against Dobson.
Dobson has said that Scott bullied him throughout their marriage and has accused him of being a unemployed con-artist.
The Why Did I Get Married? star filed for divorce in September 2017 citing irreconcilable differences and “inappropriate marital conduct that such further cohabitation would be unsafe and improper.”
