Wendy Williams to Be Seen Around the World (on BET)
(AOL Black Voices) — The self-proclaimed “Queen of All Media” is continuing her media takeover. This time, her “How You Doin?” catchphrase might soon be a global phenomenon BET has acquired the rights to air Wendy Williams‘ hit talk show, ‘The Wendy Williams Show,’ on its international networks in the United Kingdom, Africa, and the Middle East. This July, the second season of the show will air in 54 countries. Barbara Zaneri, BET Networks’ executive vice president of program strategy, scheduling and acquisitions, said that the New York Times best-selling author has had good numbers for the basic cable network in the year that the network has been broadcasting her New York-based show.
