A recent survey by Edison Research and Arbitron found that 25% of people who use Twitter are African Americans, roughly twice their share of the general population. Twitter is the social networking and microblogging service that enables users to share their thoughts on music, culture and news in “tweets” of 140 characters or fewer. Why has Twitter become a black thing? There are many theories.
