Bernice King Has Demands Before Assuming SCLC Presidency
(Atlanta Journal Constitution) — The Rev. Bernice King has not assumed her elected role as president of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference because she has demands not yet met and she wants to wait until the public turmoil around the leadership of the organization has been resolved, according to testimony.
