While there’s virtually nothing that Idris Elba could do that wouldn’t make us lose our collective minds every time we see him, we have to admit that scruffy Idris is by far our favorite Idris. He’s the type of man whose 5 o’clock shadow amplifies his sexy 10 times over and who can also rock a full-fledge mustache and beard without us thinking he looks like a mountain man. When it comes to the facial hair game, Idris knows how to handle himself.

With a slick mustache and beard, Morris Chestnut is another hottie who proves that a little facial hair can elevate the total package. With that defined jaw-line and bald-headed sexy going on, Morris’ decision to rock the facial hair is a good one that takes his attractiveness up several wonderful notches.

For so long we remember clean-shaven, silky smooth Blair Underwood. The Blair Underwood whose baby face made us swoon when we watched him on “L.A. Law.” But now, we’ve got a more grown and sexy, manly Blair Underwood, on point facial hair and all! And we don’t think he should ever go back to clean-shaven.

There’s no doubt that when it comes to how we like our superheroes, we like them with a little bit of scruff. It makes them seem manly and tough and ready, willing and able to protect us from any dastardly forces around. So given that Black Panther himself and all-around cutie Chadwick Boseman proudly boasts a goatee or chin/cheek scruff, he fits our superhero bill perfectly.

Common
Common may be off the market, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t bask in the glory of his attractiveness and the way he’s able to make a thick, full beard oh so sexy. While we’ll be the first to admit that a lot of facial hair can go wrong very quickly and can often overwhelm a person’s face, Common wears his with an undeniable confidence and swagger that we love.
Donald Glover
OK, so we admit that we were torn about including Donald Glover on our list of men who can pull off the ‘stache. At times we are super feelin’ Donald’s sexy scruff and other times his porn ‘stache creeps us out to no end. But, by and large, we have to admit that when that man rocks some facial hair, he rocks it well.
Jesse Williams
It’s safe to say that it would be virtually impossible to make “Grey’s Anatomy” star Jesse Williams not look amazing. Those eyes, that body, that wokeness … we love him to what is really a ridiculous degree. And when it comes to men who do a little hair on the face justice, this man is leading the pack.

His career may not exactly be on fire these days, but that does dampen Lance Gross’ level of sexy in the list of Hollywood’s bearded men. Actor and Tyler Perry favorite Lance has owned his facial hair game for years and we hope he never goes down the clean-shaven path. There’s no doubt that sometimes we give a little side-eye to People’s Sexiest Man Alive Choices (the fact that Idris Elba still hasn’t gotten top honors is a disgrace), but we really can’t knock their salute of “Girls’ Trip” star Kofi Siriboe. He knocked our socks off when we saw him on the big screen and knew that when it came to celebrating our facial hair-clad men, he had to be on our list.
